Thus the Great Race of the unicorns were able to take place as planned and Queen Malice's thunderbolt was destroyed and her evil plot foiled.

My 8 years old daughter has read every single one of those. When she starts to read she just cannot put them down. She reads them over and over so it is that good. Great chapter book series for a second to third grader.
My niece absolutely loves these books! She is six years old and going into first grade. She read the first two in two days.
